Portugal: Elisa wins Festival da Cançao 2020 and is heading to Rotterdam

  • The previous two weeks we watched a total of 8 acts qualify from the two semi final rounds of  Festival da Cançao 2020. Today the 8 qualifiers gave the final battle for the golden ticket to Rotterdam . Big winner was Elisa with the entry Medo de sentir.

    The show was hosted by Filomena Cautela and Vasco Palmeirim. The 8 national final contestants that took to the stage tonight were:

     

     

     

     

    The result will be determined by public voting (50%) and jury voting (50%) . The jury consisted of Conan Osíris (Portugal 2019), Anabela (Portugal 1993), Capicua ( 2018 national selection composer), Miguel Ângelo (2018 national selection composer), Héber Marques (2015 & 2017  national selection composer), Rui Miguel Abreu and Isilda Sanches (music industry experts)
