Junior Eurovision 2022: Common song 'Spin the Magic' released

  • The common song of this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest 'Spin the Magic' has been released. 

    The common of the 20th edition of Junior Eurovision titled 'Spin the Magic' which is this year's slogan too is now out along with its official music video. 

    The common song as feature of the contest, was established back in 2007 and was usually used in the past to serve charity causes and activities. 

     

    This edition the song is been performed in the music video by last year's winner Malena Fox, who this year is welcoming the rest 15 delegates in Yerevan. 

     

    While the official video features Malena, the performance of it on stage on December 11 during the interval act of the live show will see all 16 participants delivering a part of it. Earlier this week the 16 delegates began recording each one their part in the song. 

     

    Junior Eurovision 2022

    Junior Eurovision is turning 20 years old this year and is set to take place in Yerevan, Armenia, following last year's victorious pariticipation with Malena Fox and her song 'Qami Qami'.  A total of 16 countries are taking part in this year's edition which has as its slogan 'Spin the Magic'.

    The 16 competing countries are:

    • Albania: Kejtlin Gjata – “Pakëz diell”
    • Armenia (host country): Nare - Dance!
    • France: Lissandro – “Oh Maman!”
    • Georgia: Mariam Bigvava – “I Believe”
    • Ireland: Sophie Lennon – “Solas”
    • Italy: Chanel Dilecta – “Bla Bla Bla”
    • Kazakhstan: David Charlin – “Jer-Ana”
    • Malta: Gaia Gambuzza – “Diamonds in the Skies”
    • Netherlands: Luna – “La festa”
    • North Macedonia: Lara feat. Jovan & Irina – “Životot e pred mene”
    • Poland: Laura Bączkiewicz – “To the Moon”
    • Portugal: Nicolas Alves – “Anos 70”
    • Serbia: Katarina Savić – “Svet bez granica”
    • Spain: Carlos Higes – “Señorita”
    • Ukraine: Zlata Dziunka – “Nezlamna”
    • United Kingdom: Freya Skye – “Lose My Head”

    The competition is set to take place on December 11, 2022 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex which had hosted the contest back in 2011 when the country had hosted the contest for the first time. Iveta Mukuchyan, Garik Papoyan, and Karina Ignatyan along with Robin the robot have been confirmed as the trio who will be hosting the Junior Eurovision 2022 show in Yerevan.
