Croatia: HRT reveals the Dora 2025 national selection contestants

The Croatian broadcaster, HRT, have revealed the contestant acts of Dora 2025, the national selection show that will determine their Eurovision 2025 hopeful.
Croatia will be using once again the DORA format to select their Eurovision 2025 representative. After receiving 221 song which marks the highest number since 2019, the broadcaster has now released the competing entrants of the national selection.
While the dates and venue are still to be announced and with the national final expected to take place in second half of February, the 24 acts that will take part have been revealed. Namely those are:
1. Ananda – 'Lies Lay Cold'
2. EoT – 'Bye, Bye, Bye'
3. Filomena – 'Strong'
4. Irma – 'Enigma'
5. IVXN – 'Monopol'
6. Jelena Radan – 'SALUT!'
7. Lara feat. LSQ – 'MAMA'
8. laurakojapjeva – 'NPC'
9. LELEK – 'The Soul of my Soul'
10. Luka Nižetić – 'užina'
11. Magazin – 'AaAaA'
12. Marin Jurić Čivro – 'Gorjelo je'
13. Marko Bošnjak – 'Poison Cake'
14. Marko Škugor – 'Šta da Boga molim ja'
15. Marko Tolja – 'Through the dark'
16. Martha May – 'Running to the Light'
17. Matt Shaft – 'Welcome to the circus'
18. Natalie Balmix – 'ŽIVOT IDE DALJE'
19. Natally – 'Dom si srcu mom'
20. NIPPLEPEOPLE – 'ZNAK'
21. Ogenj – 'Daj, daj'
22. Petar Brkljačić – 'KRAJ'
23. Supersonic Trio – 'Animal'
24. Teenah – 'Aurora'
However, there are also four back-up acts:
- SWINGERS – 'FUL KUL (Full cool)'
- Fenksta – 'Ekstra'
- Patricia Gasparini – 'KARMA'
- llyricum – 'TANANAI' (MOTHER)
Croatia in Eurovision
Croatia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 with the group Put and their entry Don’t ever cry. In 1996 Maja Blagdan and in 1999 Doris Dragovic, finished in 4th place in the Grand Final, marking the country’s best results in the competition before the 2024 edition.
In 2024 Baby Lasagna represented the nation at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo with his dynamic song ‘Rim Tim Tagi Dim‘ succeding the country’s best result by coming 2nd in the Grand Final.
